We stayed in a Queen room with two queen beds. The room was spacious, was cleaned daily, had a nice view over LA, and beds were comfortable. The hotel neighbors a quiet residential area, with grocery stores not being too far (I recommend Ralph’s and the one in Koreatown Plaza, both at S Western Ave). If you have to use public transportation, metro buses to downtown stop right by the property. The neighborhood felt safe (at night as well), location-wise it is somewhat in between all major touristic areas (Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Downtown, Santa Monica is a bit farther, etc.), so commuting either way takes more or less the same amount of time. Since breakfasts weren’t served due to COVID, the hotel staff provided us with dishes and bowls (upon our request), and a microwave was also available in a hallway. A lot of properties in LA for the same price are motels, which can happen to be less secure. Rotex has an underground parking available for guests as well as a parking lot in its backyard. It was overall a pleasant experience, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable and non-expensive stay in a quiet neighborhood, and do not mind not staying in the epicenter of the touristic area.

Location is great and the parking lot is nice as well. They offer a valet service which is nice. Rooms are cozy but a bit smaller than most. Bathroom in my room. Was big and spacious and very nice. Fair warning, take some flip flops or keep your socks on during the night because the tile floor gets really cold. Other than that hotel was great and they even have a Cafe and Chinese restaurant on-site in the lobby(just didn't have a chance to try either) .

The Hotel is an old hotel with a lot of outdated features but nothing bothered me since the room was spotlessly clean, value was great and location was a killer. I personally don't mind the "oldness" of hotels as long as they do a good job of maintaining and keeping it clean. This hotel exceeded my expectation and I'll be coming here again next time I come down to LA.

Nova

After walking around thé area thé best facilities were at thé hôtel such as thé snack cafe. I felt secure walking at night though most all businesses were closed at night. Visited thé Korea town Galleria and thé Korea town Plaza

Parking was under the building which was nice as there were homeless camped outside so we didn’t have to worry about them messing with vehicles. There was also armed security throughout our stay.
